About this place

Nearly 6,000 acres in the Mount Bennett Hills, all of it public. It is mostly flat.

Those hills are a belt of rolling foothills. The Sawtooth Mountains stand north of them and the Snake River Plain lies south.

Most of this area is gently sloping plain, with several rhyolite bluffs standing out of it.

Elk, deer and coyote live here, and so do birds of prey and upland game birds.
