About this place
Sevier Canyon, also called Marysvale Canyon, lies along the Paiute and Sevier County lines. It is a busy canyon.
Utah State Highway 89 runs straight down the west side of it, with the Sevier River in the bottom.
Rafters, tubers, anglers and campers all use the river. There is a developed bike path along the east side, running to the resort at Big Rock Cany Mountain.
You can get onto that trail at the mouth of the canyon, and at Joseph, Elsinore and Central. Access through Richfield is planned as the trail grows.
The views down the canyon are very good.
